Who says you have to be an "old-timer" to have as much fun as this? Our members' ages range from very young to the very young at heart. Our common bond? A love for traditional acoustic music and the desire to play, perpetuate, and preserve it. Although fiddles always rule, we also welcome toe-tappers and players of supporting instruments to come out and join us. Take a look around to learn more, and then come out and meet us sometime!

Welcome to District 9!
We meet the 4th Sunday of every month in Castro Valley.

We are a large district, and we know that many people cannot come out to the Castro Valley Jam each month. Please check the Events page to see if any satellite jams are listed for your area. If you have a jam or an event to list, please email us.
